I'm about to build a Wood Duck 12 hybrid. I've built several other non-hybrid CLC boats over the years. Wondering what's recommended in terms of any special tools that will make building the strip-deck easier. Thanks!

A small "finger plane" (sometimes called a luthier's plane or a violin maker's plane) came in very handy when we built our Passagemaker from a kit. Here's one similar to what I had:

The only other tool I felt i needed to add to the collection was a low angle block plane with a good sharp blade...if you don't already have one. Otherwise, you should have everything you need. H
