How to finish after final varnish coat?
I'm about to 400 grit wet sand the interior of my JSII, getting ready for final coat of varnish.
I've read things about people waxing and such after the final varnish coat. But it sound to me like there's not a lot of use in that besides adding a asthetic polish that will be gone after a couple trips on the water.
So...my question is, is there ANYTHING especially useful to do after applying the final varnish coat? Besides splashing the boat! ;-)

Stand back ten feet and admire it, take a couple pictures then splash it. 😀 Oh and let it cure an extra week to let the varnish harden up more before strapping it down for trailering.
