A little goes a long way! If you're decanting what you'll be applying in a single session you need to measure carefully, maybe 1/2 - 1 tsp per 8 oz. varnish. A lot depends on ambient air temp. and that of your workpiece: warmer dictates a balance between working time vs. tendency to runs on non-horizontal surfaces.

Now Floetrol's meant for latex finishes, not oil-based. If using traditional UV-inhibiting oil-based varnish, you want to use Penetrol instead!
