In '08 I assembled a truly valiant Passagemaker, and have rowed and sailed it around a bit since. Now I can't remember how much of the bottom planking was glassed. There are serious dings to the first strake from the bottom, as well as to what I think were always sacraficial skeg / skids.
Were the first strakes 'glassed? I think the bottom plank was, and the skegs and skids went on top "naked".
