When attaching the tiller to the rudder head on the Eastport Pram I assume the tiller should fit loosely on the rudder head in order to swivel up or down for convenient positioning? Is this correct? I am building from a kit and the rudder head does not fit in the precut tiller slot so I will make the slot wider, just wondering how wide, how much play it needs.
