Floatation on nesting Eastport Pram
HI All
I've watched a number of videos on the nesting eastport pram and few of them show the floatation that is suppose to be added under the seats.
What's the general opinion on the need for the foam? I wondering if I need to add that to the pram I built a few years ago.

RE: Floatation on nesting Eastport Pram
I recently saw a video in which foam sheets made out of 100% recycled materials (bottles) was used for a boat's core. I was wondering if I could use that for the floatation, and if anyone knows where to get some? I'm assuming that the stuff in Home Depot/Lowe's is not this recycled kind.

DMK Sails,
I personally believe that floatation in a open swampable boat is a critical safety feature. When things go bad on the water, they can go bad quickly. Having a boat that you can right and bail out, or just hang onto to stay afloat, can be a lifesaver.
It's cheap insurance.
