Photo Contest March 2026

First of all, many thanks to all who submitted one or more great shots of their beautiful CLC boats for the Photo Contest that we held in the first quarter of 2026. We appreciate everyone's input, and your images will find their way to photo galleries and other spots over the next few months.

The competition was close among the many great submissions, but top marks went to this paddling portrait of his Shearwater Sport from Daniel N. of Hartland, VT.

Congratulations, Daniel! You're the the winner of this quarter's $150 CLC gift card.

Another image favored by our team was the idyllic scene above, from John L. of Jamaica, VA, of a row in his Annapolis Wherry Tandem with parasoled passenger.

Idahoan Eric Z.'s image of a fuzzy figurehead on his Jimmy Skiff II also drew smiles and appreciation from the team.

The handsome portrait of his plans-built Skerry (above) from Frenchman Franck Decaux was another popular entry, as was the image below of his Passagemaker Take-Apart from Gregory D. of Venice, FL.
