You can call us at 410-267-0137 from 9 am to 5 pm, Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. You can fax us anytime at 410-267-5689. If you call or email about a current order, please have your order # available for quick service.
Email is a great way to get a hold of us. We try to answer emails seven days a week and within 24 hours, although response times vary. If your email account issues challenges (e.g., Earthlink) or filters aggressively, you might not get a response or order updates from us. We respond to ALL emails, so if you don't hear from us, there might have been a typo in your email address, or our response was filtered.
Company Policies
Billing Policy
Credit card transactions are processed individually by CLC the same day the order is placed. Orders that include boat and camper kits are also charged the same day that the order is placed, which may be days or weeks before the production or shipment of the kit. Full payment is required for kits to secure a position on the kit production schedule.
Kit Order Cancellation
Contact our customer service team by phone or email if you need to cancel an order. Refer to our return policy below if the order has been shipped or picked up from CLC. A 3% cancellation fee will be subtracted from all boat kits and camper kit cancellations. This fee covers the actual costs of processing an order.
CLC Class Cancellation
Classes require a tuition deposit to reserve a spot for the student. Students can cancel for a full refund, less a $100 fee, up to 30+ days before the start of the class. No refunds will be issued within 30 days of the class start date. For courses run by other schools and organizations, please refer to that school's cancellation policy.
Backorders
If an out-of-stock item significantly delays shipment, we will ship the order balance immediately and send the out-of-stock item as soon as it becomes available. Generally, the order will be charged in its entirety at the time of the initial shipment. However, charges on expensive back-ordered items, such as oars and rowing units, may be delayed until the time of shipment.
