I have done a detailed study to find the boat I want to build and I am seriously considering the CLC Northeater Dory. What I am looking for is someone who lives near me who would let me give his/her boat a try...a row...possibly a sail. I live on Whidbey Island just across the sound from Port Townsend. Hi David,
We're building a dory in Port Townsend and hope to have it done by the Wooden Boat Festival Sept 9th. It's being built for rowing...no sail kit, but you'd be welcome to try it out.
