Shearwater 17 hybrid foot braces
I am well down the track with my build - about to fibreglass the deck, and just noticed that no foot braces have come with my kit. The kit dealer in Australia has gone bust since I purchased it.
I know I can order something directly from CLC n the US, but my question to the group - are there any other creative ways to add foot braces? I was thinking about building some small wooden blocks to glue in, or use some hard foam attached from the front bulkhead - anything to give a solid footing for each foot without having any screw go through the hull.
thanks in advance.

Here's one option for alternate footbraces - uses minicel foam.
