Ana. Duel Wherry deck and #1 bow gap
Starting to stitch. Bow deck and #1 has a 1/4 inch gap starting from contact with blunt bow point and slowly tapering to nothing about halfway back. Is this normal? Looks like if I taper the bow point the gap would close.

Early days then! Yes once you start to get the sides building up and the bulkheads in it will draw up together. Please check your bottom panel to panel 1 is even along both sides as it caused a slight stern twist in mine.
Good luck, just about to fit rails here.
