First paddle on a gorgeous fall day on the Octararo Reservoir. Mill Creek 16.5 on the water at last! Thanks for all the support CLC Forum! Everything I'd hoped for - tracks well, turns easily with a sweep or rudder from the rear, no problems in a pretty good breeze on some angles of this serpentine lake. Speeding along with two paddlers.
Thanks for all the support CLC Forum!
Hope these pics display well.

RE: Launched! Mill Creek 16.5
Thanks! Flush hatches were not in my plan, originally, but seeing the beauty of the lines evolving as I built, I couldn't resist. Cost significant time as the the radius was off and I had to kerf, bend and add a strongback to hold the radius. No doubt these boats are engineering projects! Love the result, in any event.

Well done ! Looks lovely. Wish I'd gone for the flush hatches when I built mine.
