Can anyone offer a good source for drop in water proof deck hatches that can replace those used on some kayaks and the Expedition Wherry?
I'm looking for an easier/faster, no rattle, lid release system than all the little clips.
I guess I could build a different cover with more versatile hardware but a square or rectangular flush/nearly flush polypropylene with hinged lid or someother harwdare would be OK too.
Any recomendations for a cover product or tried and sucessful hardware for a retrofit?
Thank you.

Wil these from the CLC catalog fit on the EXPEDITION WHERRY ?
The Sea-Lect Designs Triple Latch Hatch
What are the cutout dimensions of the 2 hatches on the EW and is there some deck camber in those areas or are they flat enough to secure a poly hatch without the needs for shims (obviously using as small a hatch as will do the job).
Thank you.
