3M 5200 Fast Cure Marine Adhesive Sealant

3M™ Marine Adhesive/Sealant Fast Cure 5200 is a one-part polyurethane that is indeed fast curing. It chemically reacts with moisture to deliver strong, flexible bonds with excellent adhesion to wood and fiberglass.

This forms watertight, weather-resistant seals on joints and boat hardware, above and below the waterline. It does this while also maintaining some flexibility, which allows for the dissipation of stress caused by shock, vibration, swelling or shrinking.

At CLC, 5200 is specifically used in the construction of Peace Canoes, where it is used to glue in foam bulkheads or floatation, and bonding hardware.
