Greenland Paddles by Humpback Kayaks & Paddles

I was looking for a two piece wood laminate greenland paddle as a back-up for my favorite rolling paddle. I took a chance on this paddle because of the price, which was considerably lower than the well known brands. I was pleasantly surprised when I received and tested the paddle. It is very well shaped and finished and handles beautifully, both for paddling and rolling. It is a few ounces heavier than I would prefer (35 oz), but has walnut edges, epoxy tips, and a varnished rather than oiled finish, so the sturdier build is woth the extra weight. I was expecting a round loom since it had round connectors, but the loom is oval where your hands sit while paddling, so that was a nice bonus. Altogether, an impressive paddle!
