MAS Epoxies Resin

Since 1991, Chesapeake Light Craft has shipped tens of thousands of gallons of marine epoxy, so we know what works and what doesn't. In 1994, professional boatbuilder John C. Harris brought MAS epoxy into the fold as CLC's primary epoxy supplier.

MAS serves all of the requirements that our garage-shop builders demand:

• easy to use 2:1 ratio
• clear finishes for varnishing
• low viscosity for perfect fiberglass work
• low odor
• 100% solids formulation for safety in enclosed spaces
• no "amine blush"

"Amine blush" will defeat all attempts to adhere subsequent coats of epoxy or varnish. Appied in anything less than about 98% humidity, MAS will not blush.

While CLC has experimented at length with competing epoxies, we have settled on the best marine epoxy, MAS, and thanks to our volume, we offer terrific discounts. We offer all quantities and sizes, up to 55-gallon drums. Bulk quantities are available in 5-gallon, 15-gallon, and 30-gallon containers upon request.
