Overview
The plans-and-manual package for the Northeaster Dory includes full-sized patterns for hull panels, bulkheads, thwarts, and sailing components. Bulkheads locations are marked on the panels, and matching stitch holes are indicated. Plans include complete details for the sails and spars. The manual is extravagantly detailed, spiral-bound on 143 pages with every step photographed and/or diagrammed. All dimensions throughout the plans and manual are shown in both metric and standard units.
This option is for builders who will be building from scratch. Builders working from a kit don't need this option.

Plans builders will consult a diagram like this (in the manual) to lay out the Dory's hull parts on five sheets of 6mm marine plywood and two sheets of 9mm plywood.
