Overview
PocketShip main and jib built in tanbark Dacron exactly to our specifications by a smallcraft specialist sailmaker. "Tanbark" was a material once used to preserve cotton sails, now recreated in long-lasting Dacron. The distinctive wine color, strongly associated with traditional smallcraft, eliminates sunglare off the sails and is highly visible on crowded waterways.
The premium suit of sails includes two sets of reefs and cringles in the main. Foot, luff, and head are rope-sewn. 5/8" stainless steel track cars are shackled to the luff. The jib incorporates a small window for the tell-tale ribbons. Leech and luff tell-tales included. The jib is fitted with a 5/32" wire luff, ready for roller-furling.
A window in the jib is available as an option.
Made to order, and drop shipped directly to you. Average time to make these is 3-4 weeks from the sailmaker.
