The Shearwater Sport Hybrid substitutes a cedar stripped deck for the standard sapele plywood deck. Somewhat more challenging to build, the Shearwater Sport Hybrid rewards the kit builder with a unique and beautiful design.
The Shearwater Sport Hybrid kit includes CNC-cut okoume hull parts, precision-milled bead-and-cove Western Red & Alaskan Yellow cedar strips, temporary deck molds, flush hatches, bulkheads, adjustable footbraces, epoxy kit, fiberglass for hull and deck, full deck rigging, tractor seat, backband, and hardware, plus expanded step-by-step 100-page instruction manual with more than 300 illustrations.
