Overview
The Wood Duck Double Hybrid substitutes a cedar stripped deck for the standard sapele plywood deck; thus the hull is a hybrid of plywood and cedar-strip construction. Somewhat more challenging to build, the Wood Duck Hybrid rewards the kit builder with a unique and beautiful design. Builders are provided with a mixture of light, medium and dark cedar strips and may create their own strip pattern, or imitate the design in the instruction manual. The Wood Duck Hybrid kit includes instructions, CNC-cut okoume hull parts, bead-and-cove cedar strips, temporary deck molds, flush hatches, bulkheads, adjustable footbraces, epoxy kit, fiberglass for hull and deck, full deck rigging, tractor seat, backband, and hardware.
