In or near Northern California? Want to show off your CLC boat OR see what other locals have built?
Our friends at Gray Whale Paddle are hosting an informal CLC builders rendezvous at Lake Natoma in Sacramento Sunday, September 28, 10 am-2 pm!
Never built a CLC boat? No worries, come and meet other builders and small boat enthusiasts. All small watercraft are welcome, it does not need to be a CLC design. Pack a lunch, load up the boat and spend the afternoon on the water, or just admiring the wooden boats.
Thanks to our colleague, West Coast rep, and boatbuilder Larry Froley, who offered to organize this casual enthusiast meet-up. Larry is our Kaholo SUP development partner and the owner of Gray Whale Paddle.
Thus far, Gray Whale & Friends tentatively plan to bring the following boats:
- Kaholo 14
- Kaholo 12-6
- Kaholo Nui
- San O' 16
- Mystic River Canoe
- Chesapeake 17LT kayak
- Oxford Shell II
- Teardrop Camper
Lake Natoma park entrance is immediately north of Hwy 50 and Hazel Avenue intersection in Gold River, CA, adjacent to Nimbus Flat boat ramp and across the channel from the Sacramento State Aquatic Center.
Note: CLC staff and company boats will not be on site for this event. This is a meet-up for local builders to get to know each other, hosted by Gray Whale Paddle.
