Custom Cover - Oxford Shell II

Whether you build your Oxford Shell in your own shop or in one of our classes, you'll want to protect your finish. 

This custom-fit Sun-DURA® khaki cover is made specifically for the Oxford Shell and is ideal for long-term protection. The sock-style cover slides over one end of the boat and zips closed along the center line of the deck, and Velcro closures at the rigger, providing full protection from the elements and critters.

Sun-DURA® is a 100% solution-dyed, 7.6 oz. marine-grade polyester fabric with a 600 x 600 denier weave. Because the color is part of the polyester fiber itself, it won’t simply wear away from the surface. A 100% polyurethane coating provides excellent resistance to UV, mildew, and rot, as well as protection against sun and water damage. The fabric is also cold-crack-resistant and breathable, allowing moisture to escape from beneath the cover.

Oxford Shell Storage Notes: If storing your boat outdoors, keep it upside down on a storage rack or sawhorses to prevent rain and snow from collecting in the cockpit. If in an windy area, securing it to the rack is advised. In damp climates, we recommend adding a optional vent to improve airflow and allow moisture to escape the cockpit area.
