These screw-in deck plates, also known as inspection ports, are available in 4" or 6" diameter. Perfect for boats with bulkheads but no deck hatches; allows ventilation and access to small items. Handsome marine-grade black or pure white, with molded-in handles so cold hands can open them. Manufactured by Sea Dog.
Deck plates should be mounted in the boat only AFTER painting and varnishing is complete. Bed the plates in 3M Marine Grade silicone caulk.

These Kits Use the 4" Deck Plates
On the 4-inch plate, the actual opening is 4 inches. You'll need to cut a 4-1/2" diameter hole in the bulkhead or panel. The outside flange diameter is 5-3/4".
These Kits Use the 6" Deck Plates
On the 6-inch plate, the actual opening is 6 inches. You'll need to cut a 6-1/2" diameter hole in the bulkhead or panel. The outside flange diameter is 8-1/8".
