Oarlock Risers (pair)

Oarlock Risers are hardwood blocks for mounting additional rowing stations or to add a little extra clearance for the oars on our rowing boats. They are available in 3 different styles.

Angle-Mount Risers are standard on Passagemaker Dinghy and Chester Yawl kits, and are used with Angle-Mount Oarlock Sockets. One pair of risers are included in each Passagemaker and Chester Yawl kit, but some builders may prefer to add up to two additional rowing stations; these risers can be used for the additional stations.

Small Top-Mount Risers are appropriate for Northeaster Dory, Southwester Dory, Lighthouse Peapod, Tenderly, Passagemaker Dinghy (and Take-Apart), and Eastport Pram (including Nesting).

Large Top-Mount Risers are appropriate for Skerry and Chester Yawl. Hole for the oarlock is not pre-drilled. Both Top-Mount type risers can be used with CLC Inwales kits and are used with Top-Mount Oarlock Sockets.

Of improved design, these are meant to be epoxied to the boat rail. Handmade at CLC. Oarlock Sockets must be purchased separately.
