Details:
We'll be at the Mid-Atlantic Small Craft Festival in St. Michaels, MD. This is the best small wooden boat gathering on the East Coast. Enjoy a large and varied fleet of boats on display and in the water. We'll have some of our fleet of sailboats, along with paddlecraft and rowboats available for demos from 9:30am to 3:30pm on Saturday.
This edition of MASCF will feature dozens of small craft, including sailing skiffs, rowing shells, kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, prams, and one-of-a-kind boats, with many of them in the water.

It’s also a great opportunity to meet small craft owners from around the region, including members of the Traditional Small Craft Association, to ask questions about their vessels and boating experiences. The Cocktail Class Wooden Boat Racing Association will be on hand with their ridiculously fun mini-speedsters, to keep things lively.
Don’t forget to check out CBMM’s small craft collection, including the dozens of vessels on display in the Welcome Center as part of the exhibition Water Lines: Chesapeake Watercraft Traditions, which opened recently.

CBMM’s celebration of all things small craft features a full slate of activities on Saturday. CBMM’s Shipyard staff will offer boatbuilding and maritime demonstrations throughout the day, while we'll also be on site with a selection of vessels from our fleet for guests to demo. Children are invited to build and sail their own model boat with CBMM’s Maritime Model Guild.
Don’t miss the chance to see these unique vessels in action that afternoon with a race on the Miles River. Guests are encouraged to watch the friendly competition from CBMM’s waterfront and docks. Everyone on campus for MASCF will be able to vote for their favorite boat, with the People’s Choice award and others announced among participants on Saturday evening.

Our lineup of CLC boats for 2026 include traditional favorites such as PocketShip, the Annapolis Wherry, Lighthouse Tender Peapod, Wood Duck 12 Hybrid, Nymph 12 Canoe, Petrel Play SG, Jimmy Skiff II, Skerry, Shearwater 17, Wood Duckling, Sassafras 12 Canoe, and the hot new PT 11 Nesting Dinghy.
