And the Winners Are: Photo Contest Results for December 31, 2025

First of all, many thanks to all who submitted one or more great shots of their beautiful CLC boats for the Photo Contest that we held in the fourth quarter of 2025. We were impressed with many more images than can be shown here, but we appreciate everyone's input, and your images will find their way to photo galleries and other spots over the next few months.

There were more than a handful of your images that were good enough to have won, making the competition tougher than usual. But once the sawdust settled, this serene portrait of his well-built Chester Yawl on the waters of Nanoose Bay from John C. of Lantzville, British Columbia, was the winner, earning the $150 gift card.

Also popular with the team were Michigander Jon B.'s portrait of a paddle in a Chesapeake 17 (above); and the pretty Eastport Pram shot from Riyad A. in Vancouver, BC.

Judges also liked another Eastport Pram picture, this one from David K. of Scarborough, ME; and the Jimmy Skiff ready for a day of fishing from John B. of Washington, VT, below.

This Kaholo paddleboard image from George B. of Medina, OH, was among the top picks, and the team could not resist the fanciful Northeaster Dory-turned-pirate-dinghy from Omer K. of Gibsonton, FL.

This classic Pax 20 shot from Steve K. of Ann Arbor, MI, was another quality entry, as was the view of his Passagemaker Dinghy ready for a winter sail from Stephen S. of Bracebridge, ON.

All the way from France came this image of his Skerry from Franck D. (above); while our judges also flagged this photo of a Wood Duck 12 from David D. of Johnston, IA.

Rounding out our too-short list of eye candy was a scenic autumn launch of his Annapolis Tandem Wherry from Ray P. of Addison, VT, and an Independence RC Sailing Model from 11 year old Ryan R., who built it with his grandfather in Stevensville, MD.
