September 30, 2026 Photo Contest
And the Winners Are:
Photo Contest Results for September 30, 2026
Many thanks to all who submitted one or more great shots of their beautiful CLC boats for the Photo Contest that we held in the third quarter of 2026. We appreciate everyone's input, and your images will find their way to photo galleries and other spots over the next few months!
This quarter, there were so many great images that our team was hard-pressed to agree on their overall favorites. There was one clear favorite, however: this shot submitted by photographer Arnie B. of Pinedale, WY, of Ev D.'s Lake Union Swift under oar power on Fremont Lake.

Congratulations, Arnie, you're the winner of this quarter's $150 CLC store credit! Scroll down for more lovely pics.

Another strong contender in this quarter's competition was this striking pre-dawn image of his Guillemot Petrel on Trillium Lake at Mt, Hood from Bill H. of West Linn, OR.

Also finishing near the top were two more classic kayaking images. Above, we liked this inviting portrait of a handsome Shearwater Sport Hybrid at Henderson Lake in the Adirondacks, built by Tanner B. of Berea, OH, "with help from dad Chris." Below, a Chesapeake 16 paddled by his daughter near Mackinac Island overlooking the Mighty Mac bridge from Adam P. of Chillicothe, IL, is one of a pair Adam is building.

While kayaks were dominant among the top choices this quarter, the image of a man and his best friend enjoying a row in his Annapolis Wherry from Bob S, of Barton, VT, caught the team's interest.

An urban riverbank sets off the sleek wooden hull of his Chesapeake 17 built in 1999 by Paul F. of Portland, OR.
This lawn display showcases not only a Stitch-and-Glue Night Heron but also an array of racing medals won with the boat by Eric Z. of Hawthorne, NJ.
Thanks to all who sent us photos! Please keep the great shots of your beautiful CLC boats coming in. The next contest closes at the end of December, when we'll award another $150 prize! Send your images—please, no more than 3 per submission—to photos@clcboats.com.
