Overview
These beautiful utility oars are handmade in Maine by Woodeland Oar & Paddle. Each oar is crafted from solid spruce, a lightweight yet resilient wood ideal for tenders & work-boats, and recreational rowers. To ensure long-lasting protection, the oars are finished with three dips in marine-grade urethane. This creates a tough, seamless coating that enhances durability while showcasing the natural beauty of the wood. The barrel grips are unfinished to ensure blister-free comfort when rowing.

Shaft Diameter: at grip: 1 7/8”, at throat: 1 7/16”, three lengths available
Finish: tri-coat urethane, unfinished handles.

Leather oar collars are recommended to protect the varnished shafts of your oars.
Plastic oar collars are also an option.
- Oars can be shipped with boat kit orders at no additional shipping charge. (not currently available)
- All sizes can be shipped by FedEx Ground service, but very high oversized fees apply to 8' oars, so we no longer stock them.
- Local pickups are available for all sizes, call to confirm stock.
